Coffee time ... I'm BluShark customer right from the beginning and I bought over the years several straps in a lot of different variations from the company. I was always happy with the straps and the excelent quality. My favorite is still the AlphaShark strap. And I've to say that I'm more happy with the AlphaShark than with the quality of the AlphaPremier. But however - the BluShark straps are way better than all the strap quality I found over the time in the German market :-) My latest strap is the AlphaShark 24mm "Espresso" for the great MARANEZ Rawai 45 diving watch. I love this combination ...

It’s as advertised, and of good quality a week or two in. It’s comfortable to wear, and hasn’t begun fraying yet, if it will. The color’s true to the depiction.
The packaging is excessive, and they could cut costs there. The advertising and follow ups are aggressive. Perhaps they feel it’s simply enthusiastic. I can’t fault them for their hustle on that account.

Working as a Yacht Captain it is imperative to have a dependable watch on your wrist for on time departures. on time arrivals and measuring time distance point to point to establish current and how it affects the dynamics of your trip. The problem and failure point is the band, if they're steel bands you're reliant upon one pin holding the watch in place with limited immediate adjustment. Synthetic or rubber bands tend to slide and have high notch sensitivity so a minor crack will go catastrophic within a fraction of a second, for the last couple of years I've been a fan of the NATO type watch straps, they vary in price and vary in quality. The best ones I've found are the Blu Sharks extremely high quality absolutely superb hardware well-crafted, you know your watch is solid. I have gotten 1 for all my watches. They look great, they wash well and withstand the rigors of being outdoors all the time, I'm very happy with them as they are the support on the security for an expensive instrument my watch.

The AlphaShark in "Espresso" looks amazing on my Orient Defender 2 with the cream dial.

Love the colour! Great quality and feel. Feels solid and well made. The weave is strong and the thickness is there but not too much. If you’re after a stronger strap this will suit due to the thickness over the AlphaPremier and AlphaShark Slim series. The stainless steel is smooth and brushed to a high standard. The colour is so nice and there’s a nice sheen to it as well, making for a soft to the touch! Totally love the colour and this strap!

The espresso brown color goes great with the burgundy dial of my Tudor Black Bay Heritage. The strap wears thick on the wrist, but is made with great quality, and is luxurious.

I was skeptical about the thickness, since the watch has small spacing between the case and the bars. Luckily, the strap can fit through, but it's a tight fit. Pushing the strap through the lugs instead of pulling it from the other side works well.
The quality of the strap itself is great, and the color is very nice, it's hard to capture on a photo.

Always love getting a blue shark box in the mail! Quality is great, price is the best in class and the buy 2 get the 3rd free can't be beat. The strap itself is not too rigid but tough enough for rugged wear. I have a small wrist and these straps aren't too long so not a huge amount to fold.

I love these blushark alpha straps. The material is so soft, and pliable. It dosen't need any break in and is one of the most comfortable natos I own. This is leagues ahead of the typical bargain natos, and definitely worth the price premium. They're not heavy, nor does the stitching have any sharp points. I really am impressed and blushark definitely has the most colour variety of any premium nato, which I hope they keep expanding! The hardware is super well made. The nylon is a bit thicker than most but the material makes these so comfortable. An awesome way to freshen up a watch. I was skeptical at first, especially with the price premium, but I feel it is worth every penney for something I wear every day. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

I've been searching for a company that makes a high quality brown nylon NATO for a while. Most places make tan straps or straps with brown mixed with other colors, but the AlphaShark NATO finally fit the bill: a dark brown strap that appeared to have been made with 'seatbelt' like material, which is exactly what I was looking for. I love the strap's color and the hardware is bulletproof and very nicely finished.
I would have definitely given 5 stars, but after the first day of use, the edges started fraying slightly. Some heat applied directly to the fibers can help fix that, but I didn't expect to have to do that on the first day. I've got other quality NATOs that I've been wearing for years that still haven't frayed. I'm guessing that the weave used to get this seatbelt look/feel may have something to do with the fraying, but not sure. This was so close to being the perfect strap for me, and I'm hoping the quality of the weave can be improved to prevent the fraying because I'd really like to get another of these one day.
