Leather Kwik Change - Ostrich Leather Watch Band

I hesitated because of the high cost of this strap, however I knew since it was a BluShark, it would be great quality and it is! This ostrich leather is very supple and edge sewn. The buckle and keepers are high polished metal and slimmer than the hardware on their nato straps. I wanted a premium leather band that dressed up my Citizen Corso Sapphire, but also one that was unique. This band accomplished both objectives. Good job BluShark!

The watch band was well made. The ostrich leather was more supple than expected. The workmanship was of high quality. The leather is quite comfortable and looks fantastic on my Orient Triton(blue). I highly recommend this band to any watch aficionado.

I bought this strap a few weeks ago along with Black and Brown Genuine, Crocodile straps. I’ve been very happy with all three. And just in case you’re not sure, yes these qualify for their buy 2 get 1 free promo that seems to be a permanent promo. Like all leather straps they were pretty stiff when I first put them on, but they only took a day to break in and they are very comfortable to wear. If you’re wondering which is one is better from a comfort/build-quality standpoint between the Crocodile and Ostrich leather I can’t help you. They feel the same to me (both amazing) so if you need a tie-breaker go with which one you think looks better. The quick(Kwik)-release pins are a feature that I think are a must have in all straps. I know it’s obvious, but it cannot be overlooked how much easier it makes to change out straps. I have two, dress watches these straps will fit so it’s awesome that I can easily swap them back and forth. I rated this one lower than the rest because I just don’t think Ostrich leather really “pops” in black like I’ve seen in lighter colors. I think a brown or tan would have been a better color for this strap. At a distance it looks like a plain, black strap, which is a bit of a shame because those spots look really cool and create some nice contrast on lighter colors.

Finally picked up a decent black leather strap for my Speedmaster. Looks sharp and the quality is good. Way nicer than those budget straps that you can pick up on Amazon for under $50. It's a good buy as listed and a fantastic buy if you use the BluShark B2G1 offer.
