We built the Leather Sport Grip because we love two things: beautiful mechanical watches and the tactile memory of holding a leather steering wheel on a long, winding road. If you’re the kind of person who notices the details, the stitch, the grain, the way a strap wears in, this one’s for you.
Why a leather strap inspired by vintage cars?
Classic cars weren’t just transportation, they were designed to be touched. The steering wheel grips were leather, stitched, perforated in places to breathe, and finished with metal details that didn’t scream for attention but earned it over time. We translated that same philosophy into a watch strap: tactile, durable, and quietly sporty.
Designed first for mechanical watches, but made for Apple too!
At its heart the Leather Sport Grip is a mechanical watch strap. It pairs flawlessly with chrono cases, vintage divers, and polished dress pieces, the kind of watches you wind and wear with intention. That said, we also made Apple Watch versions (including Series 11, SE, Ultra 3 and older models) so folks who live in the smartwatch world can get the same vintage-leather feel.
Mechanical watches
The strap’s profile and stitching complement spring-bar lugs and two-piece designs common on mechanical watches. It breaks in naturally, develops character, and gives heavier cases the right balance on the wrist.
Apple Watch (Series 11, SE, Ultra 3 & older)
We offer Apple-sized options that maintain the same design cues — perforations, contrast stitching, and brushed or PVD hardware — while using quick-release pins for tool-free swaps. There’s also a separate Ultra collection tailored to the Ultra 3’s beefier lugs and adventurous spirit.
