Very good quality NATO strap. Comfortable enough to wear all day and then some. I chose the Alphashark in Navy Blue with brushed hardware to compliment my Seiko SNE435 Solar PADI Diver. Very pleased and will definitely buy more of these in the future.

Really like the strap, especially the tone of blue . The shine gives the strap a more expensive look, which is a plus.
My only concerns is after a month of light usage, the edges do fray, so I'm not too sure about longterm durability as compared to the original blushark straps.

I wanted a strap to try and bring out the blue colour on my watch bezel a bit more and this ticked the box! I love the quality and silkiness of the strap and will definitely be back for more. I've only bought cheap natos in the past, but these (I bought three) are so much better, way more like OEM natos.

I bought three Alpha-Shark nato's and the quality of the hardware and material is top class. The material is really soft and silky. A great strap for the price.
So pleased with the quality I also bought another six straps 5xOriginal and an Orca. The quality is still really good, great hardware, the main difference between the Alpha's and the Originals is in the material, not as thick but still very very good. The Alpha's also have a floating keeper whereas the Originals are fixed.
All in all, all the Blu Shark straps are great value for money and of excellent quality.......so good that I don't think the nine I have will be my last :)

Very good quality materials. I do find that the striped Natos are just a bit less comfortable than the solid color ones, this seems to be true of all Nato straps no matter the manufacturer the finish on the striped ones is a little rougher. I do wear mine pretty tight though as I don't like a lot of watch movement on my wrist. Blu Shark has been the most comfortable one I have found so far, and that's a good thing because I love the looks of a Nato strap. I do have a Citizen that has an 18mm braclet on it and I'm considering replacing it with a Blu Shark...the bracelet is very comfortable in it's own right though.

Received my Alphashark today, pretty much impressed with the overall built quality, i didn’t expect much when i first read the review, but once i get a hold of it,i totally understand why, despite the thickness of the alphashark, it is smooth and will fit nicely on your wrist. It blue had a nice sheen to give it a little pop. The only drawback I can find, the strap is a little thick for my CW. That includes the lug to lug width (22’mm)

Very high quality strap that exceeded my fit and finish expectations. Looks great on a diver with a pepsi bezel. It is noticeably beefier than the original, so if you are looking for something less pronounced I would recommend the original. Somewhat of a nit, but the original also has more holes over the same length and is therefore more adjustable.

In the search for the perfect nato strap I thought I'd give BluShark a try because of the positive comments in a german forum. I like the style of the "Alpha" a lot. Great look, perfect thickness as it's a little thicker than the "Original", very comfy (I don't feel any scratching from the stitches on the backside while wearing it and it fits nicely around the wrist) and the buckle (!) is certainly the best one that I experienced so far on a nato strap. I wear it in hole number 4 with a 6.25 inch wrist so it should fit most people. Buy this strap and get the look of Robert Redford in "All is lost"!

I’m loving this NATO strap bought it for my Deep Blue NATO Pepsi and a perfect match to the dark blue dial. The strap is of excellent quality and is most comfortable to war. The hardware is beautifully polished and looks very sturdy.

The strap itself is very comfortable and smooth but the navy blue color is a bit on the lighter side. Depending on the light the shade of the strap will change from a royal blue to a indigo tinted dark blue.

This is my first premium NATO strap. I'm very glad I purchased it. I have been wearing it every day for a month. I love the premium soft feel of the fabric over the less expensive NATOs I have previously owned.
The edges have started to fray slightly. I know I can burn them to tame it down, however the nice fabric loses its soft feel in the affected areas. I initially touched up the end piece, with a bias towards the inner side, and learned that lesson, before I torched the edges.
Damasko watches make it hard to install. The spacing between the case and the pins is too small. The holes for the buckle hang up on the case edge as it is fed between the case and the pin. I'm concerned it will start fraying the holes, but it hasn't yet. It is a Damasko issue, not BluShark's.
I paired the strap with an Aegir Instruments buckle purchased via ToxicNatos. The rectangular holes work beautifully, and I'm really glad I upgraded the buckle.

This is a review 1 month after receiving Alpha Straps.
I only gave 3 stars because quality/price ratio is not as good as Original Natos from BluShark.
Although Alphas are really good quality, they also are thick, quite stiff and feels more like a leather strap on wrist. Major flaw on 2 of 3 I have is fraying, and that is just from tucking in the excess strap end. I wear these straps at my desk, for other activities I use silicone nato.
Fraying after 1 week of wear at most is not a good sign.
So, I would rather buy 2 Original Nato straps for 32$ and receive third for free, because they are thin, yet dense and elastic, and there is no sign of them being prone to fraying.
Also the Navy Alpha is noticeably softer than Black and Bond, maybe different batch.
If you read this review, I would recommend you rather buy Slim Alpha or several Original Natos.

I bought 3 Alpha straps in different colors: Black, Navy and Bond, so I will leave one review for all of them.
My first impression is that these are really premium nato straps that can be used to dress up your watch, but for me personally not for everyday wearing. Don't get me wrong, material is really soft, sturdy and has that seatbelt feeling to it. But starps are also thick, which makes the watch stand up high from the wrist. and it can be problematic to fold and tuck in the end of the strap.
Also, distance between holes could be like on Original Nato, because for me perfect fit is right in the middle of holes.
This is a strap for a lifetime, and it can make any watch look great.

Beautiful luster, great build quality - I now have a hard to me with my other non Blushark NATO and Zulu straps with their tiny buckle holes. The color is not quite navy but is a brighter blue - but I expected it from other reviews. It is pretty and matches the blued hands on one of my watches. The material is lustrous and smooth. It is thick so for me, I don't put them on my taller watches. I have 7" wrists and the buckle sits slightly off to the side and not at the bottom of my wrist (I know NATO straps are supposed to sit to the side more). It would be nice if there was more strap distance at the buckle cole side so that the buckle will sit on the he bottom like a conventional strap. All in all a great purchase with you phenomenal customer service.

Simply amazing quality strap - the color is rich and lustrous, the strap is soft and ready to wear - comfortable from the get-go with no breaking in needed. I usually wear my TAG Link Automatic Chronograph on the iconic Link steel bracelet, but when I feel like a change, I won't settle for anything less than one of these amazing AlphaShark straps. The Navy Blue complements the dial beautifully and the sheen on the strap catches the light with a rich intensity.
