If you want a firmer, more robust feeling strap, go with an alphashark. If you prefer a supple, softer strap, go alphapremier. You will not be dissapointed either way. It's actually a bit thicker than I thought it would be. Not as tight as Phenomenato (I was hoping it would be comparable), or the very pricey Omega straps. It's a little short for my 7.25" wrist as well. Also FYI, the color is a bit pinkish. I was hoping that it would be a darker red (like Pinot Noir!). It's definitely on the better end of the spectrum for NATO straps, I'm just very picky.

Most red straps are too bright, but this one keeps it a bit subdued and matches dark red bezels nicely.
