A 70s Rossignol watch with 17.5mm lugs and tight pins proved difficult to fit. I modified the AlphaShark Slim as a single pass along with curved spring bars for clearance. A wonderful solution for my fathers day gift, and a great quality strap.

Wow! Extremely comfortable strap! It's thin and super soft. The watch sits nice and low on the wrist. I will say though that a heavier watch might feel a little unbalanced with this light strap. But for a slimmer watch like a skin diver or a vintage piece it's fantastic!

Although slimmer than other brands it still didn’t feed through my JLC. I was able install directly under spring bars but risky if they pop off.

Great looking and very supple. I wear watches a little loose, and heavier watches flop around a little on thin straps. I would wear this more often if I didn't have an Alpha and Alpha Premier which I slightly prefer. I will use it as a dress band or on lighter watches.

The thin material used on this strap is comfortable, but it didn't feel sturdy enough on my wrist. It may work better for smaller lighter watches. Seiko Arnie reissue.

I love the strap, it is just the right thickness and feels great, just like a seatbelt if not better. One problem I'm starting to see, which is why it doesn't get 5 stars, is the main hole that I use to buckle the strap is starting to, what seems like, rip into the next punctured square hole. I did notice just now that in the picture for this particular strap it has round punctured holes but mine came with squares, got me wondering if it was suppose to come that way.

The hardware on the AlphaSlim is different than the Alpha premier and the Pajama. The holes are tiny and round as opposed to a larger slot. Unfortunately, the narrow little bar that goes through the holes easily breaks the melted part of the hole and also stretches the hole out quite noticeably after just a couple of days of wear. This band would definitely benefit from the other hardware. It also seems just a little shorter than thr Premier so for me the "tuck" just wasn't there as it was not long enough.

Read all the good reviews, and was very excited to get the product! Unfortunately, after about a week of wear, the Slim is stretching out. Now the holes I use are too loose for me. Also, wish the descriptions include which buckles are pinned vs sewn-in.

I am greatly enjoying this alpha slim strap. It is my first foray into higher quality straps and I am pleasantly surprised at the difference in quality from the $5-10 natos. The strap itself is silky smooth and slim, leading to an extremely comfortable wear. The black pairs with my Tudor exquisitely, giving it a luxury look. One recommendation to BluShark is to reinforce the holes more - with slight fraying only after a couple weeks wear.

I've been wearing this strap for over a month. I have 6.6"- 6.7 inch so most straps a way too long in length, this strap hits a good spot. Extremely comfortable to wear, very durable fabric, and the floating keeper is an added bonus. Hardwear is high quality, love the buckle. Regarding the fabric, I was looking for a "thinner" high quality seatbelt fabric and this one is excellent for the price. So far I have been very happy with this strap and plan to buy more of this style.

I bought the Alpha Thin NATO strap. It's very comfortable, almost silky feeling... not as rough and seatbeat-like in texture as my old BluShark Bond NATO strap I bought 6-12 months ago. My only concern is the holes fraying.

Wow, this ruins every other NATO strap on the market for me. Hands down the most silky smooth, supple, and comfortable strap I own. Hugs the wrist and watch perfectly without bulk. The new texture on these slims is a really clean and subtle way to make the black more interesting. It's also not as shiny as the Alphasharks, but still shiny enough to feel luxurious.
Also I never cared for sliding keepers on NATOs, but now I can't do without it.
Note: Black is a little firmer/stiffer than some of the other colours, YMMV.

The hole where the clasp goes through has almost come apart. The material seems too thin to be a watch strap. Loose fibers had to be hit with some heat from a lighter so they didn't come apart anymore. Nice hardware, but I wouldnt recommend the slim alpha.

Straps are fantastic. The extra slimness really helps the watch hug your wrist and is surprisingly more comfortable. Attached pic is a comparison photo for reference. From left to right: 20mm AlphaShark (Bond), 22mm AlphaShark Slim (Bond), 20mm AlphaShark Slim Black. Notice the different holes, tighter weave, and slightly more compact hardware.
I love the new AlphaShark Slim. I hope that this collection grows to offer all the options in the regular AlphaShark line.

Very nice, tight weave. Holes and stitching are uniform and well executed. The brushed hardware is simple, but solid; the signed buckle is a nice touch. Works well to dress up your watch a bit, especially compared to your standard nato.
